The inception for the Throughull was for...Hi Dukey,<br />The inception for the Throughull was for Indian Ocean waves but this board was shaped by Ryan in Jersey for east coast conditions. This Throughull is 6'4 so more of a stubbie. I liked it as a single fin for beach break conditions. The bites made it a little stuff for my tastes. Worked well for waist and up on cleaner days but did handle lesser days as well. It's a great short board if your more of a longboard rider as the speed zone is from the middle on up to the nose which is typical of hulls.
