Taylor Steele's "Here & Now" to hold its East Coast Premiere in Rockaway on July 7

Taylor Steele's new movie "Here & Now" will have its east coast premiere at The Spot on July 7th, featuring a set by local surf punk band The Supertones.

In his latest release, Steele ("Shelter", "Castles in the Sky"), documents one day of surfing around the world, shot entirely on May 2, 2012 by a global network of filmmakers and surfers.

The Supertones will go on at 7:30 and the movie begins at 9:00 or as soon as it gets dark.  Roberta’s will be selling a selection of pizzas from their mobile pizza oven.  Complimentary refreshments provided by Sixpoint Brewery, Kanon Organic Vodka, Vita Coco, and DiCosmo’s Ices.


Tickets are $12 and are now available online here at Eventbrite.  Members of the Rockaway Surf Club get in free (membership costs $10 a month).
