I read this yesterday after receiving the July issues of Surfing Magazine in the mail. I think it's a wake up call that is much needed. I am totally jazzed for warmer weather, grabbing my soft board and blasting the Rockaway shore!

Thats a cool article! I ride prone as much, if not more than stand-up now. What most surfers don't seem to realise is that you don't have to choose between the two. Riding prone just becomes another arrow in the quiver once you humble yourself enough to do it. And the new spots it opens up means good bye to surfing in crowds!
